Tue Hesselberg Foged and Sinus Lynge, founding partners of EFFEKT Architects, will be the 2019 Scan|Design Foundation Distinguished Guest Professors. EFFEKT is a Danish architectural of ce based in Copenhagen operating within the elds of architecture, urban planning and research. For more information about their work please visit the EFFEKT website at www.effect.dk. They will teach a graduate studio in autumn 2019 co-taught by Associate Professor Peter Cohan. The studio will begin with a trip to Copenhagen during the rst two weeks of September. The trip will include visits to buildings and sites in and around Copenhagen, of ce tours, design workshops led by Sinus and Tue and museum visits.

A grant from the Scan|Design Foundation will pay for lodging, ground transportation and museum admissions during the Copenhagen trip. Students will be expected to pay for airline fare to and from Copenhagen, meals in Copenhagen and incidental expenses. Graduate students who will be entering Arch 506 in autumn 2019 may apply. Participants will be selected on the basis of previous studio performance, scholarship, motivation and maturity.
