Faculty Recruitment Candidate Public Talks

From Ken:

On behalf of the staff and faculty of the Department, I am writing to provide you with information and some insight into the Department’s current search for a new faculty member (Assistant Professor, tenure-track). This is an exciting time and opportunity for our Department. If this is a successful hiring process, it will be our first hire in more than 10 years into a tenure track position.

For now, it is important for us to keep the identity of the candidates under wraps. We will release the names and a brief bio of each candidate shortly before their interview. Each interview will be 1.5 days and include a public presentation by the candidate and a 1/2 hour session with students on the first day of the visit.

The Public Talks will be at Noon followed by Q+A, and then a student session at 1:00 p.m.

Public Talk (including Q+A):  Noon – 1p
Student Session:  1 – 1:30p
