Each week this quarter in Details we will highlight a UW Architecture lecture from the past that we have recorded and invite you to review. This week, we feature John Ochsendorf, who was the 2016-2017 Barry Onouye Endowed Chair at the University of Washington and is the Class of 1942 Professor of Architecture and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is also a founding partner of the engineering firm Ochsendorf, DeJong and Block.

He spoke at the University of Washington campus in Seattle on November 2, 2016.

His lecture, titled The Search For Form, was part of the Department of Architecture Autumn 2016 lecture series and was the 2016 Barry Onouye Endowed Lecture.
