The 2018 UW Runstad fellows will share discoveries from their study in Cape Town and Johannesburg and how the lens of race and social justice informs the post-apartheid redefinition of the built environment with attention given to informality in aspects of housing, public realm, and climate change and how we might apply these lessons to our home in Seattle.
