Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) Summit – Call for Abstracts Submissions

Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) will be accepting proposals for Summit presentations in the following formats:
- Poster Showcase (5-10 minutes — Virtual Only)
Poster presenters are required to create 5-10 minute asynchronous videos of their poster content for participants to view ahead of their session. The showcase session will include the opportunity to create a virtual ‘exhibit,’ where presenters can curate materials such as, but not limited to: the PDF of poster, supporting documents, and videos. - Regular Sessions (60 minutes — In-person or Virtual)
Depending on presenter preference, regular sessions can either be attended in-person at the Summit, or offered virtually and recorded for asynchronous attendance at a later time. Virtual presenters should include a short 3-5 minute video introduction for participants to preview ahead of their session. In-person presenters are also given the option to include a short 3-5 minute video introduction for in-person participants to preview ahead of their session. - Workshops (90-120 minutes — In-person Only)
Workshop sessions will be viewed by in-person participants. Presenters are highly encouraged to incorporate techniques that engage their audience and move beyond a traditional seated lecture. Presenters have the option to include a short 3-5 minute video introduction for in-person participants to preview ahead of their session.
Proposals will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. February 1, 2022. Please submit any questions or technical concerns related to proposal submission to muresearcharis@missouri.edu.
- All submissions must include a 150-word or less abstract.
- Regular Session and Workshop submissions will also require a one-page session proposal that includes an overview of the session topic, target audience, a description of the session format, goals and activities that participants should anticipate if attending.
