The use and role of technologies in the design and functioning of our cities and buildings has become ‘second nature’ to many. In the context of COVID-19 social distancing and it has cemented itself into how we operate in the workplace. Similarly, it has become central to how we teach design in ways never imagined just one year ago. While all this suggests change, many of the design, construction and environmental issues at play in architecture and urban planning will remain once we return to a form of ‘normality’.
Taking on this background, and these recent events, these three conferences call for contributions on architecture, urban planning and design teaching.
