Student Administrative Assistant Role Available at the Carbon Leadership Forum

~10 hrs/ week, $20/hr


Recognizing that buildings account for nearly half of global CO2 emissions, the Carbon Leadership Forum at the University of Washington, is dedicated to accelerating the transformation of the building sector to radically reduce the embodied carbon in building materials and construction through collective action. CLF is known as a critical source of robust, useful research data, a trusted keeper of knowledge on embodied carbon, a positive convener of stakeholders for impactful collaborations and an effective incubator of industry led initiatives to empower rapid impact.

Essential Duties

  • Update and maintain accurate records in the CLF customer relationship management database 
  • Support website improvements through publishing information, SEO, etc.
  • Support other ongoing administrative tasks and projects as necessary


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and navigate a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Thorough and detail oriented
  • Can self-direct and take initiative
  • Commitment to racial equity and ability to work with diverse teams


Preference for Candidates with:

  • Graphic design experience (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software)
  • Ability to write compelling stories
  • Passion for CLF’s mission to eliminate embodied carbon in buildings and infrastructure by inspiring innovation and spurring change through collective action.
  • Familiarity with green building strategies, technology, and trends
  • Experience working with email marketing/ communication systems
