Get Engaged Program Seeking Applicants for Design Review Board and Pioneer Square Advisory Board!

This email is to announce the Y Social Impact Center’s Get Engaged program is still accepting applications for the 2022-2023 year but ONLY for the following two boards/committees: Design Review Board and Pioneer Square Advisory Board. Please help us to network this email to a wide range of folks who might be interested!
The Get Engaged program places individuals, ages 18-29, on the City of Seattle’s public boards and commissions. Get Engaged board members serve a one-year term starting September each year. Acting in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council, board members help shape policy decisions, make recommendations, and provide citizen participation in city government. Started in 2001, Get Engaged is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders and advocating for the influence of young voices in city affairs.
To apply: Please send resume, cover letter, and references material to lhorton@seattleymca.org by Monday, August 15th at 5pm. There will be a follow up questionnaire sent after these materials are received.
