Internship Opportunity with the City of Bellevue
Do you have a passion for transportation safety? The City of Bellevue’s Neighborhood Traffic Safety Services (NTSS) group in the Transportation Department is looking for an advanced undergraduate or graduate-level student intern. The intern will work on a variety of projects and tasks including but not limited to advancing work to assess a 20-mph speed limit for local streets in Bellevue, working on transportation-related programs and outreach efforts around schools, and assisting with tasks that arise in the NTSS group.
Bring your passion, skills, and fresh outlook to the dynamic NTSS team!
The ideal candidate would be available to work at a minimum through the 2023-2024 school year, part-time when school is in session (12-15 hours a week) and full-time (30-40 hours a week) during summer months and school breaks (if available). Candidates will have strong analysis, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills and be confident working independently and collaboratively. We encourage applicants with more than one year of school remaining to apply.
