JA Community Foundation Grant for Programs Serving Japanese Americans

Visit Webpage

The JA Community Foundation works to identify and invest in solutions that meet the needs, interests, and concerns of the Japanese American and broader Asian American communities and promote programs that benefit those communities.

To that end, the foundation is inviting applications for its 2022 spring grants program. Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded in support of new projects or improvements to existing programs with the potential to benefit the senior Japanese American community. The foundation will give first priority to organizations that address senior health and services, second priority to history, arts, and culture, and third priority to youth.

Organizations may apply for one-time or multiyear grants. For one-time grants, grantees may reapply for a new project if demonstrative goals were achieved. Multiyear grants are contingent on submitted project budgets and determined on a case-by-case basis. Current grantees may not reapply for funding while a current grant is open.

Deadline: 1/20/22
