MetroLab Network Student Cup Competition
We are pleased to announce that MetroLab Network is now accepting applications for the second iteration of our Student Cup competition!
As early-career civic researchers, students bring new ideas of thinking, new ideas, and energy to civic research partnerships. These projects not only benefit civic partners in the immediate, it also helps grow long-lasting relationships and collaboration between students and city governments. We look forward to highlighting projects and ideas developed by undergraduate and graduate students from MetroLab Network Member universities. Therefore, we are hosting another iteration of the MetroLab Student Cup!
Interested students should complete the online application by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on March 1 2022. The application asks for a project description as well as a few other key details about the project and partnership experience with a civic organization. Finalists will present their projects to a team of judges from government, academia, and civic organizations during MetroLab Network’s 2022 Summit. Up to five winners will be selected and awarded $1000, with one grand prize winner who will be featured in the MetroLab Network Innovation of the Month series through our partnership with GovTech.
