The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) is sponsoring a new program for the summer of 2021.  The OTT Entrepreneurship Program is designed to develop a pool of talented technology commercialization professionals. The DOE and National Labs can draw from this pool of professionals in an effort to achieve OTT’s mission to expand the public impact of the department’s research and development (R&D) portfolio while advancing the economic, energy and national security interests of the nation.

The program will benefit the participants by enhancing their education and training in technology commercialization-related fields and increasing their future marketability in these disciplines. In addition, participants assigned to policy-related projects will gain deep insight into the federal government’s role in the creation and implementation of policies that will affect energy technology development and commercialization.
