We specialize in the design of commercial and affordable mixed-use properties, industrial, and institutional facilities such as hospitality, transit and aviation facilities. You will have an opportunity to work on unique project types. As part of our internal and external team members you will assist in the development of programming documents, research codes, assist project teams in the production of early design concepts, assist in the production of final design, permit and contract drawings, assist with materials research, assist your team in the completion of construction administration services and interact with vendors, contractors and building officials. Our current work schedule includes both in office and remote workdays.
Critical Requirements Qualified candidates should have architectural training and education in the architectural field. Architectural job experience is a plus. We also require both working knowledge and some experience of AutoCAD, Revit, Word and Excel; skillsets should include:
• Use Revit to create preliminary and construction documents for small industrial renovation projects. • Use AutoCAD to create preliminary and construction documents for small industrial renovation projects.
• Tailor standard construction details and develop unique construction details as needed to complete construction documents.
• Research and prepare code study documents that demonstrate compliance for projects with industrial (group F) and hazardous (group H) occupancies. Comfortable familiarity with IBC, IFC, OSHA, and NFPA codes and standards. Able to research special topics when needed.
• Other useful skills may include:
Tailor standard specifications for projects based upon concept drawings and outline project definition.
Develop area layouts per project concepts in conformance with codes.
Develop effort-hour estimates and remain accountable to them.
