External Events & Stewardship Assistant


The College of Built Environments (CBE) provides a unique gathering of disciplines which enables the College to truly define and excel in all areas of built environments. CBE Advancement creates engagement opportunities that foster pride, advocacy, and private support for the college. Our team encompasses marketing & communications, fundraising/development, events, and alumni & stakeholder engagement. CBE is a college made up of many majors, backgrounds, and identities, and we encourage all interested persons to apply.

Position Description including Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work with the Assistant Director of Advancement Services and Advancement Services Officer to support external events that engage alumni, donors, community partners & industry professionals, and the general public to grow CBE’s reputation as a trusted thought leader in Seattle and beyond.

Assist in coordination of event logistics including event postings, preparing briefs, working with vendors & volunteers, and other tasks as needed.  This role will also include duties related to donor cultivation and stewardship including running regular gift reports and coordinating thank you cards from the college, assisting with the development of impact reports, and supporting stewardship activities.

Help broaden our capacity to connect with our audiences and deepen new and existing relationships with our community.

Other duties as assigned 

Duties may include data entry as well as learning and engaging with various UW systems to carry out tasks.
