Seeking Teaching Assistant – ARCH 524
The Department of Architecture is hiring a TA for ARCH 524: Design Technology V. In addition to being responsible for leading 2 of the lab sessions in the quarter, helping with all lab sections, and holding weekly office hours and extra office hours during the submission weeks, the TA will contribute to course grading and be the primary point of communication for students in the class. The lab sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:20 (Section A) and from 2:30 to 1:50 (Section B). The TA is expected to attend both sessions. Required qualifications: excellent verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse student groups, a strong background in building performance simulation (to have taken Arch 524 successfully in previous years), and a willingness to learn and apply new simulation tools. Desired qualifications: further experience with simulation tools in other classes and/or in a professional setting.
