TA position opening: Arch 322, spring quarter
Structural Design Teaching Assistant
The Department of Architecture is hiring a TA for ARCH 322: Introduction to Structures III in Spring quarter 2022. In addition to being responsible for leading sections, the TA will contribute to course grading and be the primary point of communication for students in the class. Required qualifications: excellent verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse student groups, strong background in statics and strength of materials and a willingness to learn and apply graphic statics methods. Desired qualifications: undergraduate degree in civil/structural engineering, professional structural design experience, strong hand drawing skills, experience using graphic statics, experience teaching.
