UW Winter Speaking Series

The UWB Sustainability Office is planning a winter speaker series around the topic of: How are agricultural and food systems being affected by climate change?

The series will consist of a mix of in-person and virtual lectures throughout January and February that are open to all three UW campuses. The in-person event on the Seattle Campus will be held on February 22nd from 4-5:00 pm and will consist of two 15-minute mini-lectures followed by audience questions.

If you plan on attending, you must fill out this google form, so I can know how many students to expect and send out Zoom links!

February 1, virtual, 5:00 pm (Climavores Podcast)

February 8, UW Tacoma, 11:00 am (Dr. Bonnie Becker & Julie Masura) climate change and aquaculture

February 15, virtual, 5:00 pm (Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center)
