Design work by architecture faculty member Associate Professor Elizabeth Golden featured in Bellevue Arts Museum Architecture & Urban Design 2021 Biennial.

Golden’s project titled “The Phoenix Cooperative” features a series of digital collages, architectural drawings, and unfired clay models that propose a new development model for suburban areas facing the environmental challenges posed by extreme heat. The work furthers the exhibition’s theme which seeks to promote a discussion on the essential role of effective and equitable design in what seems to be an ever-expanding urban environment. The exhibition runs from November 05, 2021 – April 24, 2022.
