Youth for Equitable Streets – 2 Year Fellowship for Undergrads
We are looking for people interested in this opportunity about a leadership fellowship for older youth. The focus is more South King County, but South Seattle is still in their scope.
Youth for Equitable Streets (YES), a program of the Healthy King County Coalition, is looking for their next cohort of 3 Fellows to learn about and take action on mobility justice, transportation equity and advocacy in South King County. The announcement and information on how to apply is attached.
The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to social justice & building community with other youth of color. They are excited to explore their identity and positionality as a leader/organizer and center creating safer spaces for historically marginalized communities of color, including LGBTQIA+, and are willing to take on leadership roles. Additionally, a Fellow is someone who is committed to improving community health through uplifting marginalized voices in transportation.
