DEPT. OF ARCHITECTURE HOURLY STUDENT ASSISTANT: GRAPHICS/ARCHIVE/WEBSITE

The Department of Architecture has a job opening for an Hourly Student Assistant for work on department graphics, archiving student work, and website updates.
The initial appointment starts immediately in autumn quarter 2025, with a preferred commitment through spring 2027.
Responsibilities include:
- Collect, organize, edit and curate student work for departmental archive, website display, and recruitment materials
- Post student work on department website
- Make frequent content edits to Architecture web site as needed
- Assist in creation of materials for department events and outreach/recruitment with direction from department staff
- Occasionally assist Architecture office staff with questions from prospective students and others in person and over the phone
- Occasionally assist with resetting studio spaces between quarters
Skills required:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and graphic design
- Experience in creative writing
- Strong organizational skills and ability to establish/maintain a consistent weekly schedule
Skills desired:
- Experience using WordPress
Position Details:
- Salary: $23.75/hour
- Time commitment: approximately 12 hours/week
- Location: Architecture Office, Gould Hall 208 (The majority of the work is expected to be conducted in the Gould 208 office.)
- Open to Architecture graduate students only
- Work study is preferred but not required (academic year only)
