Mission
To represent the CBE staff in a participatory role in the College and the University, giving voice to the interests and issues of the CBE staff community. The Council will foster collaboration and communication between each of the five academic Departments within the College. The Council will preserve and promote respect, integrity, and excellence across the College.
Who We Are
The CBE Staff Council is made up of one representative from each academic department, one representative from the Dean’s Office and one at-large member. The Council was created to provide College of Built Environments staff with a forum to discuss and bring ideas and concerns forward to the dean. Meetings are held once a month and minutes are posted on our Google Drive. Each year the council creates professional development and social opportunities for the staff across the college. We also manage the awarding of the annual “Distinguished Staff Award.”
