ARCH DEPT WINTER QUARTER 2026 POSITION OPENING


The Department of Architecture has a job opening for a READER GRADER in Arch 321 / Intro to Structures II in Winter Quarter 2026.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend class lectures, assisting in classroom management as needed
  • Serve as a primary point of email contact for students
  • Hold weekly office hours
  • Assist instructor with grading of student assignments and tests
  • Consultation with instructor and other duties as assigned

Skills required:

  • Successful completion of course(s) in structural design, engineering or physics
  • Proficiency in calculation and quantitative problem solving
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Position Details:

  • Salary: $23.10/hour
  • Time commitment: approximately 12 hours/week
  • Open to graduate students only
  • Work study is preferred but not required
  • In person required
