The WCRER Releases The State of the State’s Housing Report

The Washington Center for Real Estate Research has released a new report entitled “The State of the State’s Housing.” This is an inaugural annual report. View the report here.

November 20, 2024, 4-6 PM, Oak Hall Denny Room, UW Sustainability Action Plan Community Kickoff Event

This community kick-off event will serve as a platform for faculty, staff, students, and partners to share their input and vision for what ‘sustainability success’ looks like for the University of Washington in 2050. There will be an interactive workshop activity containing topics such as research, academics and learning, community service and campus operations. Register here. There will also be a Zoom event on December 3rd (see below for details).

November 26, 2024, 3-5 PM, Husky Union Building (HUB 334), Future Rivers Film Screening

Future Rivers is hosting another film series to bring forward concepts of community, climate, and fresh water. The series will open on Tues., Nov. 26 with an exclusive screening of Hollow Tree: Growing Up at the End of the Earth (link to trailer). Snacks will be provided! Register for the event here.

December 3, 2024, 2-4 PM, UW Sustainability Action Plan Community Kickoff  Zoom Event

This event will cover the same material and feature the same activities as the in-person event taking place on November 20. Register to the Zoom session here.
