TA position in the department of Architecture
The Department of Architecture is hiring a TA for ARCH 524: Design Technology V. In addition to being responsible for leading 2 of the lab sessions in the quarter, helping with all lab sections, and holding office hours, the TA will contribute to course grading and be the primary point of communication for students in the class. The lab sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:20 am (Section A) and from 1:00 to 2:20 pm (Section B). The TA is expected to attend both sessions, please apply if you do not have a schedule conflict. Required qualifications: a strong background in building performance simulation (to have taken Arch 524 successfully in previous years), excellent verbal communication skills, and ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse student groups. Desired qualifications: further experience with simulation tools in other classes and/or in a professional setting.
