Winter Quarter 2024: Hourly Student Assistant Position Opening for ARCH 380


The Department of Architecture has a job opening for ONE HOURLY STUDENT ASSISTANT in Winter Quarter 2024 for ARCH 380

Responsibilities include:

  • Help students learn new software (Rhino, Adobe Suite, Rendering software, Post-processing, etc.)
  • Help students outside of class to answer their class-related questions
  • Help with grading
  • Help with course-related materials preparation
  • Help manage the class while the instructor is giving a lecture

 Skills required:

  • Knowledgeable with Architectural modeling and representation tools and software such as Rhino modeling, rendering software (Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, etc.), post-processing software, Adobe Suite, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated skills in working collaboratively
  • Comfortable with grading

Position Details:

  • Salary: $21/hour
  • Time commitment approximately 10-12 hours/week
  • Work study is preferred but not required
